Day of Caring comes to CTFRC
United and volunteers from Interior Savings work to make our centre even better!
On July 8th, we were fortunate enough to have the fine folks from Interior Savings come and help us create a new outdoor space for our Kamloops Autism Program. This project was part of the United Way’s Day of Caring campaign.
These wonderful volunteers pulled weeds, leveled dirt, hauled gravel and fixed fences, and that was all just before lunchtime. Without these amazing people, our Centre would not have had the man power to create this wonderful outdoor space for these children.
Mary-Ellen Everatt, Executive Director as well as staff here at Children’s Therapy & Family Resource Centre, thank the volunteers from Interior Savings and the staff at the United Way for all their hard work and dedication to our Centre.
