World CP Day

Wednesday, October 7th, is National CP Day

Did you know that October 7th is “World CP Day”? World Cerebral Palsy Day is a wonderful opportunity to connect and celebrate with the CP community, and we are doing our part to bring this global event to BC.

World CP Day has launched the “I Am Here … We Are Here” campaign, aimed at raising awareness on a global scale through grassroots means. Join the global community by marking your place on the world map, where you can share your story and read more about the challenges and successes of others living with Cerebral Palsy across the world. Check out the world map here: https://worldcpday.org/add-your-story/

In celebration of World CP Day on October 7th, Vancouver City Hall will turn its lights green! Our board members Andy Yu and Julia Halipchuk will be accepting a written declaration recognizing “World CP Day” at Vancouver City Hall to commemorate the occasion. Starting at 9:00am our staff and volunteers will be staffing a booth behind the Vancouver Art Gallery (in front of Robson Square at 800 Robson St. Vancouver, BC). Please join us as we serve light refreshments, enjoy some tunes, and talk about CP!
